Supply Chain · Pricing & Contracts
Agree a rate once with a supplier and the product remembers it. Contracts and accepted quotes feed one negotiated price list. Sourcing reads it to propose a direct PO, RFQs pre-fill from it, and multi-currency quotes are compared on landed cost with the FX rates you maintain.
Five steps, and the price is typed once.
Contract
Record a blanket or rate purchase agreement with a supplier: items, agreed rates, validity.
Activate
Activation publishes the agreed rates to the negotiated price list. The item-vendor matrix shows them next to the base price.
Source
When a requisition line is sourced, the cockpit proposes a direct PO where a contract rate exists. Otherwise the RFQ goes out with the price pre-filled.
Compare
Quotes in any currency are converted with your FX rates, freight and charges are added, and the result is ranked on landed cost.
Learn
An accepted quote writes its price back to the list. The next purchase of that item starts from what you last agreed.
Two sources feed one price list; one list feeds sourcing and comparison.
Blanket and rate purchase agreements with suppliers. A contract holds the items, the agreed rate and the validity period. Activating it publishes the rates to the negotiated price list, which pre-fills RFQ and PO pricing and lets the sourcing cockpit propose a direct PO without a quote round.
One grid of who supplies what. For each item and supplier it holds the base price, the negotiated price, the lead time and the rank. Sourcing uses the rank to pick the preferred source; the long-lead planner uses the lead time.
The Currency Rates page holds FX rates as INR per unit. Quote comparison converts every quote to base currency and adds freight and charges, so a USD quote with air freight and an INR quote with local delivery are ranked on the same footing.
A market price check and a vendor reputation lookup bring outside context into the quote comparison, from citation-verified sources only. They sit beside the quote; the buyer decides.
The tables keep their meaning; the labels follow your organisation.
